Introducing The Autumn 2016 Collection: Back To Business
For the Autumn 2016 Collection, Hawes & Curtis draws inspiration from contemporary businessmen who lead their careers in the City. Having dressed successful corporate professionals for more than a century, Hawes & Curtis knows that every powerful man and woman needs to look immaculate throughout the working week. The new looks project power, confidence and sophistication in the distinctive British style that Hawes & Curtis is renowned for.
The new campaign celebrates Hawes & Curtis’ influential past and present clients. Since 1913 Hawes & Curtis has dressed royalty and Hollywood’s elite and continues to provide for the sartorial needs of successful men and women.
The photoshoot took place on the 19th floor of the Shard. The iconic landmark was chosen for its striking architecture and the magnificent views over London. For the second time, David Blakeley is the face of the campaign; the TV presenter, actor and best-selling author embodies quintessential British style.
Chairman and CEO Touker Suleyman, who is also an investor on BBC 2’s Dragons’ Den, says: ‘Hawes & Curtis is committed to dressing customers for success. The new collection is inspired by the constantly evolving lifestyles and environments of our clients. Our brand continues to develop and adapt to these, whilst always remaining faithful to our strong British heritage.”
Here, we present some of the collection’s key pieces.
Featuring fine stripes, this slim fit navy suit updates a classic pattern with its modern silhouette and luxurious wool fabric. An opulent silk tie and pocket square will add a sartorial flourish to your ensemble.
This slim fit shirt is designed with a smart cutaway collar which looks excellent when worn with or without a tie. The contrast white collar and cuffs beautifully offset the blue end-on-end fabric. Add personality to your formal attire with a silk patterned tie, silver cufflinks and a tie slide.
